What constitutes a 'waste' flower?

Today we were lucky enough to receive some 'waste' flowers from a florist. Flowers that would've otherwise been simply chucked away. But don't they look beautiful?!

Their only flaw is a little browning and they will have a shorter shelf life but we still think they look beautiful!
