Our new idea was founded through looking at composting services which are currently available within Wellington. These services focus on largely food waste; however none focus on the floral industry.
Our idea is a subscription service which will aid in the composting of this organic floral waste and will function once per week.
Through looking at the realities of landfill we aim to educate these business owners about the reality of their organic waste being in landfill and thus encouraging them to join the scheme of composting.
Our next step for this idea is to pitch to Gen (she was at a screen printing workshop) and flesh out the logistics of our idea as well as discerning whether there is an agency for us to work with/through for funding/support.
